ropelocker dyneema cruise rope

Our dyneema cruise rope joins our extensive yacht rope range. Ideal alternative to high priced racing dyneema, our dyneema cruise features a high tenacity polyester cover with braided dyneema core. Dyneema, size for size, is the lightest technical fibre in production ensuring high quality lines for your yacht. Dyneema cruise is an upgrade to standard braid on braid polyester rope as they are lighter, higher strength and lower stretch.

Due to the characteristics of this rope, we are unable to complete a double-ended splice (i.e. a splice on both ends) on any rope less than 5 metres.

Special features:

  • Lightweight (lightest technical fibre), high strength
  • Smoother profile hard wearing 32 plait cover to reduce wear on rope and blocks
  • Less friction gives faster running and quicker boat manoeuvres
  • Cover can be stripped
  • Dyneema inner core with intermediate cover to reduce slippage
  • Suitable for cruising
  • Easily spliced
